More than 75 artists will converge on the historic Char House at Imperial Sugar Land to showcase and sell their paintings, photography, drawings, mixed media and other pieces – more than 200 works in all – at the giant Imperial Art Show and Sale on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Char House is located within the Imperial Sugar Land development at Highway 90 and Ulrich Street.
Free for the entire family, the Imperial Art Show and Sale will provide art aficionados with the opportunity to browse among rows of works from emerging artists in the region. The event also will present works from students of the Fort Bend and Katy Independent School Districts.
Best of Show awards will be presented in each art category following professional judging by noted Lone Star Art Guild Judge Charles Anderson. People’s Choice awards also will be presented to the best works in each category, as voted by those in attendance.
The Imperial Art Show and Sale is hosted by Sugar Land Area Artists and Katy Area Artists. Both groups are members of the Lone Star Art Guild.
The event will coincide with the weekly Farmers Market at Imperial event where vendors present fresh-from-the-field produce, one-of-a-kind shopping finds and culinary demonstrations.
